ENG – Hi curvy beauties! Today I will show you a look that suits nearly any purpose and any physique, a real passe-partout outfit for plus size or curvy women. This outfit was inspired by two everstylish trends: soft tonal colours (a great pick for spring and summer) and the bon-ton lady-like kind of Fifties/Sixties style. The result is a classy though relaxed and easy-to-wear look that enhances curvy silhouettes, if you choose the right pieces of clothing, of course.
I picked a sage green tailored blazer, designed and sewn for me, that perfectly fits my shapes. I combined it a white peplum top that conceales very well the belly and, and a pair of ankle cut trousers with a retro print in mud and white. I completed the look with a pair of taupe flats with a bon-ton bow and a small hill, just to slim the figure. I usually don’t button up blazers because the color contrast with the top underneath makes the illusion of a thinner waist. Moreover, since my hips and belly don’t look in proportion to my legs, I usually prefer to wear eye-catching prints on trousers, and not on tops. This helps my body to look well balanced.

IT – Ciao bellezze curvy! Oggi vi mostro un look adatto praticamente per ogni occasione e qualunque fisico, un vero passe-partout per donne plus size o curvy. Per questo outfit mi sono ispirata a due trend intramontabili: i colori delicati, neutri, che riprendono i toni della terra (una scelta sempre azzeccata per la primavera e l’estate) e lo stile bon-ton tipo First Lady, un po’ a cavallo tra anni Cinquanta e Sessanta. Il risultato è un look di classe ma allo stesso tempo confortevole che, oltre tutto, valorizza le curve, se si scelgono i capi giusti, ovviamente.
Ho scelto un blazer sartoriale in verde salvia, disegnato e realizzato proprio per me, che veste perfettamente le mie forme. L’ho abbinato a un top peplo bianco che nasconde la pancia e con un paio di pantaloni alla caviglia con una stampa retrò in color fango e panna. Ho completato il look con un paio di ballerine color talpa, con un bel fiocco bon-ton e un po’ di tacco per slanciare la figura. Di solito indosso i blazer aperti, perché il contrasto con il colore del top che si vede sotto, dà l’illusione di assottigliare la vita. Inoltre, visto che i miei fianchi e la mia pancia mi sembrano troppo grandi rispetto alle mie gambe, preferisco portare tessuti stampati sui pantaloni, piuttosto che sui pezzi sopra. Questo mi aiuta a ribilanciare tutte le proporzioni.
